Roughly 25 years in the industry and a resume that includes education from celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham. Jewel has been flown as far as Scotland to do a client’s hair. It should come as no surprise as her talent is only surpassed by her graciousness. Read on to discover what Jewel brings to the chair besides her expertise.
When you’re not doing hair, what are you up to?
Photography is my forever companion, playing music at home on the piano quiets my mind. Getting outside and exploring my natural surroundings is the best inspiration.
Why clean beauty?
Clean beauty is on a mission to change the industry for the better. I hope it inspires accountability about what we put on our bodies and into the environment.
What is your favorite Oway product?
Flux Potion, specifically when I’m doing a blow-out. I like that it’s light in the hair and gives the ability to create a clean or voluminous style with some staying power.
What is a principle that defines your life?
A principle that defines my life is authenticity. I want to embody that in how I show up for myself and those around me.
